Add a Live “Now Playing” Widget to Your Website

A now playing widget on your portfolio or blog shows visitors what you're listening to right now. PlayPresence sends the song from your Android phone to your site in real time, from any music app.

Option 1: the one-line widget

Paste this where the widget should appear, with your own username:

<div data-playpresence-widget data-share-id="@yourname" data-relay-url="https://presence.bridgeapi.top"></div>
<script src="https://presence.bridgeapi.top/widget.js"></script>

Your exact snippet is on your page under For streamers & developers.

Option 2: the JavaScript SDK

For your own design, install the SDK with npm install @playpresence/sdk:

const client = new PlayPresenceClient({ channel: '@yourname' });
client.on('stateChanged', (state, isLive) => render(state));

It keeps a live connection, reconnects on its own and moves the progress bar locally between updates. See the developer docs.

Option 3: REST API and WebSocket

Fetch the current song from /v1/public/@yourname/now-playing, or subscribe to /v1/public/@yourname/live over WebSocket for instant updates. Both need no API key while your page is public.

Privacy

Only the song that's playing right now is shared, and nothing is shown when you're not listening. You can make your page private or delete your account from inside the app at any time.

Free on Google Play. Get PlayPresence and share your first song in a minute.
